Description: A rare early Facelift 1 2,000cc car with twin headlights behind single piece glass. Early interior trim in crazy 1970's mustard & brown with wood effect dashboard centre console and wooden gear lever - the interior has much more of a "Lancia" feel than the later bland FL2 cars. Factory sliding steel sunroof. In the mid 90's I used the white Lancia a lot and I rate them as a really fun, usable, affordable toy. It will still sit happily on the autobahn at over 100 mph and reach 120. The specification was so advanced when the Beta Coupe was launched including Front Wheel Drive, Lampredi Twin Cam engine, 5 speed gearbox, disc brakes all round and proper independent suspension. The Bumpers, trim & window frames are all polished stainless steel. The dash is an 8 clock unit with speedo, rev counter, water temp, fuel level, battery condition, oil pressure, oil temperature and oil height gauges! This car has been built up from a bare shell in the 1990's, barely used since and is an exceptional example. Due to the relatively low value of these great little cars, it is very rare to find one that has had such a comprehensive rebuild. The engine bay is outstanding, The underside is superb (stonechipped & painted). It runs on original lancia alloy wheels with new Verdestein tyres all round (including Spare). There is a really nice optional radio housing with working period radio fitted. It would cost a fortune to replicate this car today. When these cars aren't full of rust they make a great usable toy that go, stop and handle - which when you jump out of today's cars into a classic is pretty rare!
