Description:
This superb little car was supplied new to Miss Jane Port by Caffyns of Bexhill, Registered 9th October 1962. The car remained in her ownership until she passed away in 1983. The last MOT issued in Bexhill was in 1982 showing a mileage of 38,188. Miss Port bequeathed £2.6 Million to the National Trust and £50,000 to the RNLI, copies of the newspaper reports that made the front page of the Telegraph are with the cars paperwork.

The car then passed though the hands of a number of owners until the full rebuild was commenced in 1998 by Mr Alex Harrison. As this was a rebuild on an original and low mileage car, Mr Harrison painstakingly ensured that all original panels were retained together with the original running gear. The standard of his work and attention to detail speak for itself, The car was completed in 2002. Subsequently the front seats have been rebuilt with new hide. We are informed the car won an award for the paintwork finish at the Bristol Classic Car Show. Overall the car is A1 and surely one of the best remaining.

The car comes with 26 old MOT certificates + 1 Current MOT.

The Original service book supplied to Miss Port and stamped to 9,290 miles in july 1966.
