1970 Triumph - TR6 2,500 Petrol Injection 1970 UK Right Hand Drive Fuel Injected TR6.
Factory records detail this car as being a home market car dispatched to Henlys Ltd London on 09/11/1970, original factory spec Triumph white 19, Black Ambla trim 11, Heater, Overdrive, 1970 version, dip left lights and black soft top. Supplied to Henlys at £955.76 + £356.28 purchase tax, 67p for 2 gallons of petrol and 61p for 3.5 pints of anti freeze!
A type overdrive on 2nd, 3rd and top.
Finished in Triumph white with black trim. Rare early car with ignition key in dash. New centre lock minilite style alloy wheels with 2 eared spinners. Super pro bushed suspension Spax front shocks and Koni telescopic rear conversion. Oil cooler, spin on oil filter, kenlowe fan, alloy rocker cover. History file and MOT's back to 1994 with £6,000 of invoices inc rebuilt engine. MOT's show 8,500 miles in past 17 years.
Older rebuild in very nice order, excellent engine bay, body and trim, superb rear deck (rebuilt).
Just had the gearbox and A - type overdrive fully rebuilt by Triumph specialist, hence lovely box and instant overdrive operation.

1974 Triumph - TR6 2,500 Petrol Injection CR Series 125 BHP UK injected overdrive car. Emerald Green with black trim and black hood. Purchased by 3rd registered keeper 02/07/1976 and remained with them until 29/01/2003. The fourth keeper kept the car from 2003 to date. Lovely history file with receipts going back to October 1976 when the car was 2 1/2 years old. Older rebuild (circa 1982) + further work in 1999 with a receipt for a pair of front wings. More recently £2,800 spent with TR Bitz inc Koni rear end conversion (2003), Metering unit (2004) and big service & MOT October 2009. Lovely original dash and tidy interior. Presentable paintwork. Typical local garage / home older rebuild. Will win no shows and not comparable with a 15K car, but a nice entry level TR6 and we have seen a lot lot worse! UK car, Overdrive, Injection - very original spec + Vinyl hood cover, lovely fabric full tonneau, Kenlowe fan, Alloy rocker cover, Halogen headlights, working radio cassette.

1972 Triumph - TR6 2,500 Petrol Injection The history file indicates that the 1st keeper removed the outer body panels when the car was circa 8 years old as the paint had bloomed, with the intention of a repaint, but this was not done for another 10 years, being completed by the 2nd keeper in the late 1980's. The 3rd keeper had the car from 1990 to 1998, and the last keeper from 1998 to date. BMIHT certificate showing the car as a UK RHD 150 BHP car in Damson with steel wheels and Overdrive allocated to Triumph dealer Steels of Hereford. Matching body, chassis and engine numbers. Full and desirable CP spec including: A type overdrive on 2nd , 3rd and top Triumph black rimmed dials, CP seats, grille etc. These early cars with pure TR5 running gear and dash are so much nicer than the more BL influenced 125 BHP cars. Mods inc CR front spoiler, kenlowe fan, thermostatic oil cooler, roll bar, inertia seat belts, full tonneau cover, fabric roof, bosch pump and 1980's radio cassette. Full history from 2nd keeper in 1988 to date. 20 MOTs from 43,723 mile in 1989 to 58,565 in 2010. 25 old tax discs back to 1975. This car has the patina that is alway lost in rebuilt stuff.
